Altura was founded in 2000 to help build clinical research capacity within the healthcare system. As we have expanded over two decades, we have become pioneers in bridging access to health studies by connecting patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare systems to important research.
With our patient-centered experience and expertise, we have evolved our support to include various areas of healthcare that impact people.
As an example, we have helped identify and treat colorectal and breast cancer by increasing the number of people that receive preventive screening tests. Additionally, our work communicating with millions of older adults has led to the launch of our UpRight™ fall prevention program that can be customized and implemented by medical groups and health systems.
During this time, we have also developed software and apps to facilitate our vision of improving health. As an example, our HCP Studies™ research engagement platform is available in 25 countries. By connecting people with important health studies and clinical trials we help accelerate innovation that can make a difference for people living with challenging medical conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s.
With our passionate, multilingual, highly trained team and flexible technology, it is our mission to support innovation and engagement to improve health.
